This last Christmas we tried making real gingerbread houses. I even made REAL gingerbread from scratch, its not that simple, not for me anyway. So I had to include a picture of my awesome gingerbread before we decorated them. Ryan really put forth some effort because I wanted him to participate but after building houses all day long for work he didnt really feel like working on more houses. So he built the house, then decorated the top with licorice in the shape of 2 people spooning. How clever!
Marky made a pretty cool one, however it never made it to the finishing stage because it fell apart. As you can see he's not happy with the way it turned out.
It was tons of fun though! I would definately do it again!
